I had a problem with my circuit breaker panel that affected my stove. Of course it was at dinner time. I called and spoke with John. Within an hour he was at my home and he fixed my circuit breaker panel very quickly. He was very professional and the cost for the work was very fair.

Exceptional work, prices, and service. After they expertly handled electrical repairs that were needed in response to an inspection report, we uncovered yet another issue that needed pretty immediate repair before the house could be sold. John and his crew responded the same day - within an hour! - and had it diagnosed and repaired promptly. Called another electric company was quoted a 2000 dollar repair, said the entire breaker panel was bad needed to be replaced. FARTHING ELECTRIC was called for a 2nd opinion they located a bad outlet. cost me 180 dollars to repair has been working FINE ever since.

I have used Farthing electric on several occasions. Mr Farthing is extremely knowledgeable gave me reasonable solutions to complex electrical problems that met industry standards and fit my budget when others tried to sell me over priced and unnecessary solutions. He is courteous and professional. He is the only company I will use going forward.

John worked around my work schedule. Came after 5:00. Solved my problem within half an hour. Reasonable. Will be using him again

Had electrical concerns noted on a recent home inspection indicating a problem in the home's main electrical box. Two of the circuit breakers were over amped for the size of wire they were connected with.

Mr Farthing opened the box and quickly verified the breakers were not appropriate for the wire. He exchanged them with lower amp versions compatible with the wire's gauge.

Second issue concerned the master bedroom outlets which were wired incorrectly, the positive was ground and vice versa. Again, Mr Farthing quickly verified the issue was valid and examined the wiring to that circuit in the main box. Yep. Reversed but easily corrected.

Makes me wonder how this was missed on the original inspection for the occupancy permit. Anyway, another instance of quick and professional service from Farthing Electric.
